Wear Prosecco Like You Drink It
As it is now August, the last true month of summer is now upon us. This means one more month of potentially hot days and warm evenings, when it is possible to sit outside with a glass of bubbly on a balmy evening.
Unfortunately, this will not last. Before we know it, September will be here, the nights will be drawing in and while those golden leaves may look pretty, they will also be falling everywhere.
However, some things are much more enduring than the ephemeral days of summer, or any other season; welcome staples of life that we would just not be without. This can apply to many things, but to some, it applies most to Prosecco, surely the finest thing ever to come out of Italy.
If this includes you, Prosecco PJs are a must for the months ahead. Not only will they keep you warm at night as the weather gets colder, but it will show off your allegiances as much as any football shirt.
Of course, there are those who might think a love of Prosecco might be best expressed by a visit to northern Italy, where the Glera grape grows on the vines of the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions and is then pressed to make this wonderful alternative to Champagne.
Others, however, might muse that while a holiday in one of Italy’s foremost wine-producing regions will be a great trip, it won’t keep you feeling snug like stylish pyjamas on a cold winter night back in England will. However, who is to say you can’t do both?
Of course, we have some great alternative pyjama themes, be it animals and birds like raccoons and flamingos, stars or even gin for those who prefer a mix of grain, juniper and a few herbs when it comes to their tipple of choice.
Either way, it will be pleasing to know that while a summer evening might mean enjoying a glass of bubbly outside, a few months on you’ll be able to do likewise indoors, snug in your themed PJs.
